Yattare sets only the cookies required to keep you signed in. Analytics uses no cookies. Nothing on this site tracks you across other websites.

Cookies we set

When you sign in, Supabase Auth sets session cookies (names starting with sb-) that hold your authentication tokens. They exist so the site knows it is you on your next request, and they expire or refresh as your session does. Without them, signing in would not work. If you never sign in, browsing the directory sets no cookies at all.

Analytics

Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies. PostHog, our product analytics, keeps an anonymous id in your browser's session storage (keys starting with ph_), which is cleared when you close the tab. For signed-in users it also records sessions, with all text and every input masked. Your choice is saved in local storage under yattare.analytics_consent, and PostHog keeps its own copy of an opt-out or opt-in under a key starting with __ph_opt_in_out_. In the rare browser without session storage, PostHog falls back to a first-party cookie. There are no advertising cookies, no ad pixels, and no fingerprinting.

When we ask first

Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland see a prompt, and PostHog starts only after they accept. Everywhere else PostHog runs by default and you can turn it off here. If we cannot tell where you are, we ask first. Session cookies for signing in are strictly necessary and need no consent.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session cookies will sign you out and prevent signing back in, but the public directory keeps working. For the bigger picture on how we handle your data, see the privacy policy.
